The aftermath of spring camp…

After spring camp you can imagine that a lot of volunteers felt the need to unwind and hang out with each other without being surrounded by children bzzf. :) A few of my friends came on down to The Christmas Village and we ventured out into the old version of the Christmas Village with some of my host sisters. We also showed the newbies the palmerie which is always a crowd pleaser!

My host sister Samira :)

Host sister Hafsa! Looking all beautiful!

Host sister Khadija, she is trouble!

This is right when we showed the girls how we make wishes on dandelions. SO cute!

Aly and Hafsa in the Palmerie.

Khadija frolicking and being herself. :)

Aly being fantastic! I love her!!!

The best picture in the universe!

The wheat fields in the palmerie are so beautiful these days.

  1. Great photos of what looks and sounds like a great day. It’s nice to know you’re enjoying yourself, giving a rest to the otherwise difficult work. Your host sisters are precious, the wheat fields beautiful, and as usual, it is always a pleasure to see your smiles :)

    • I got your care package!!!! Holy God it was an amazing one! Those leggings are currently saving my life. Handwashing things really does a number on things like spandex so I needed some more.
My host siblings love when I get care packages I always share cool items with them. Go figure that Moroccans dont really like sour candy ??
Give my love to my Uncle and cousins. I hope July works out!

Thank you for keeping in touch and sending me goodies! When you do the Peace Corps Ill be sure to do the same :)

      Miss and love you!
