This is a facewash that I purchased in Errachidia. It was only 50DH. Look closely at the writing on the front…

Ahhhhh Hahaha! Inappropriate I know, but this is hilarious!

  1. Well, there’s something to be said for truth in advertising. My favorite find in Germany was a snack mix called “Cock.” A company by the name of Balhsen made it. Balhsen’s Cock. Such a delicate people, the Germans.

    • This is great. One of my favorite things I learned in Arabic (following in the Germans example) the word for thumbtack in arabic is penis. Said exactly the way we would say it. Ohhh life. Why are you so hilarious?

      • Hi Rachel,

My name Abdelkrim ( Kareem for friends), I’m from Taroudant and I do help PC volunteers in my town ( Henry, Seth, Donna,…ect).
Sorry to be an intruder in your conversation with your friend, but I think that what you said is not correct, I explain : the word for thumbtack/drawing pin in moroccan arabic ( Darija) is not penis ( not pronounced as the word you mean) as you said but pronounced ” peniz” and it’s comes from the French word ” Punaise” as you may know most morrocan arabic words are brought from that language as we were colonized by the French.
        Thanks
        Good luck with your projects
        Kareem

      • Thanks for the tip. It does sound pretty close to the English word… enough to get a giggle out of friends and family. :)
